Should I get Xeomin or another Merz injection?

Many of our patients come to us to get Xeomin in Port Charlotte. However, we may not recommend this injection to everyone if our other options better suit your goals. While Xeomin is a neuromodulator, Radiesse, and Belotero Balance are both fillers. Xeomin can treat dynamic wrinkles by interrupting the facial contractions caused by your brain’s signals. Radiesse is for those who need help boosting their collagen production for a more natural approach to filler. Belotero Balance is specifically for treating fine lines that form in delicate areas such as around the mouth and eyes.

Do I need to prepare for Xeomin?

Yes, but preparation is minimal. Before receiving Xeomin in Port Charlotte, do not drink alcohol for at least 2 to 3 days so that your blood flow is normalized during treatment.

What should I do after my injections?

Do not touch the treatment area for multiple days, regardless of which Merz injections you’ve received. You should also avoid sweating if possible while your injectables settle.
